I admit it, I am thoroughly enjoying making chunky textures in my backgrounds. Then, finding the background becomes part of the foreground as I add in color is an added bonus. 

In some way his feels like a blend of sculpture and painting. This idea appeals to me. Though I’ll have to explore materials other than canvas since the weight becomes a challenge. I’m thinking wood. In fact I’ve acquired several pieces to further my exploration. 

To date, my wine paint concoction continues to evolve, my love of texture is advancing, and I’m finding all sort of new music to paint with.  I’m looking forward to my next few showings as I’ll get to talk with totally random humans about what my art does to them.
